Dr. Angali (Angie) Raji is a last-minute replacement for a volunteer, abroad program in the hot climate of East Rewt. On the island, she’s quickly distracted by the local people, sky-surfing, and a mysterious person named Fin. Everyday Dr. Angie rations her hot sauce and yearns for a Coke vending machine. Then a disaster on the island causes injuries that brings Dr. Angie a patient who she finds intriguing and mysterious. This trip is turning out to be less of a last minute job and more of a long-term reconstruction of Angie’s heart.
