Landi, a marketing genius, gets her heart broken by her wife, Mak. In response, Landi dusts off a stack of un-redeemed love coupons and coerces Mak into finally fulfilling them. While Mak is busy redeeming coupons and possibly herself. Landi meets a beautiful, funny and kind woman named Pip.
Pip is a lawyer in a big downtown firm. She has a booming career, a nice car, a huge salary but comes home every night to an empty house. One night at a lesbian bar, her friend Molly bets a woman that she can’t get Pip to kiss her. This interaction sparks Pip to add women to her online dating search. She becomes discouraged because they are missing something – they aren’t Landi.
The end of May approaches when Mak has to redeem the last coupon during the annual HerRun.
